PRESS COFFEE

  • 1)Boil 350 grams of water.
  • 2)Add 30 grams of coffee to the glass apparatus. Pour twice as much water as coffee (60 grams) over the grounds.
  • 3)Gently mix the grounds using a paddle or butter knife. Allow the coffee to bloom in the water for 30 seconds.
  • 4)Pour in the remaining water and cover the apparatus. Let the coffee steep for four minutes.
  • 5)After steeping for four minutes, gently press down the filter. Serve the coffee immediately after depressing the filter, as this will keep the coffee from becoming bitter.
